Getting started
What is VedAvatar?
VedAvatar is a Vedic astrology app in Hindi and English: your Kundli and Kundli Milan, the daily horoscope, Shubh Muhurat, numerology and baby names, palm, face and handwriting readings, and live calls with AI astrologers. Your chart is calculated from your birth details, and AI then explains it in simple words.
What can I use for free?
Without signing up, you can see today's Panchang, your birth chart and your core numbers. A free account adds today's horoscope and a ₹50 welcome credit for a new verified account (once per person); after your first paid reading, also 3 free Ask Guru questions and the first 2 minutes of your first live call. Full readings are paid per reading or come with a plan.
How do I get started?
Create a free account with your email or your Google account (you need to be 18 or older), add your birth details and choose a reading. You can add family members as separate profiles. VedAvatar works in Hindi or English on any phone or computer, and you can add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
I don't know my exact birth time. Can I still get a reading?
Yes. Turn on "I don't know my exact birth details", fill in what you know and leave the rest empty. VedAvatar then reads your chart with the Bhrigu Nandi Nadi method, which does not need the exact time; what does need it, such as the Lagna and the houses, is left out.

Which reading should I choose?
Start with your Janam Kundli: it covers your nature, the main areas of your life and the years ahead. Planning a marriage? Choose Kundli Milan. Naming a baby? Choose Baby names. Need a good date for an event? Choose Shubh Muhurat. Business partners, friends or family can see how they get along with Compatibility.
We are planning to marry. How does Kundli Milan help us?
Enter both birth details. You get the Gun Milan score out of 36, the Manglik check for both of you, and a balanced written reading of your strengths as a couple and what to look after together. A score is one input, not a verdict: read it alongside your families' own conversations.
How do we find a name for our baby?
Open Baby names and enter the baby's details: surname, boy or girl, and the date of birth, with the time and place if you know them. VedAvatar finds the traditional starting syllables from the birth nakshatra and suggests meaningful names with their meanings. The list is a suggestion: choose the name your family loves.
How accurate are the readings?
Your chart is calculated from astronomical data for the birth details you give, so correct details matter most. The reading is a traditional interpretation of that chart: it describes tendencies, not certainties. Please do not make health, money or legal decisions on a reading alone.
Can I keep my reading and ask questions about it?
Yes. Every reading is saved in your History and comes with a PDF report you can save or share. With the Ask Guru button on a reading you can ask follow-up questions about it: after your first paid reading, your first 3 questions are free, then each costs ₹19, and the Blessed and Astrologer plans include questions.
Live astrologers
How do live calls with astrologers work?
Choose an astrologer and check the per-minute rate shown before you call. Allow the microphone and talk naturally: the astrologer already has the birth details you chose. Minutes come from your wallet or your plan, and after your first paid reading the first 2 minutes of your first call are free. If your balance runs out, the call pauses until you add money.
Are the astrologers real people? Can I book a personal consultation?
Every astrologer you call or chat with on VedAvatar is an AI persona, each with its own style and speciality. For a one-to-one consultation with the VedAvatar team, send a request from Premium services: the team calls you to fix a time, and the consultation (₹699) is paid directly to the team, outside the app.
Payments and wallet
How do I pay for readings?
Add money to your VedAvatar wallet by UPI, card or net banking and pay for each reading from it; the price is shown before you start. Or choose a 30-day plan (from ₹149) that includes some readings. Wallet money is spent only in VedAvatar: it is not cash and cannot be withdrawn.
Do plans renew automatically? Can I cancel?
No plan renews on its own: each one is a single payment for 30 days. You can stop at any time; your plan keeps working until its 30 days end, and the unused part is not refunded. If you upgrade, the unused value of your current plan counts towards the new one.
How do refunds work if a reading fails or I am charged twice?
If a paid reading cannot be prepared, the amount is refunded to your wallet automatically, without you having to ask. If money left your bank but did not reach your wallet, or you were charged twice, email support.vedavatar@gmail.com with the payment ID from your receipt.
Privacy and account
What happens to my palm, face or handwriting photos?
A photo is used only to prepare that reading and its PDF, then deleted. It is not saved in our database, on our servers or in your History. We keep what was measured from it, never the photo itself.
Who can see my birth details and readings?
Your profiles and readings open only in your own account. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. Please add family members' details only with their permission, or as their parent or guardian.
How do I delete a profile, a reading or my account?
Delete a profile in My profiles, or a reading in History, at any time; deleting a profile also deletes its readings. To delete your whole account, use "Request account deletion" in My Account, under Security, or write to support.vedavatar@gmail.com from your registered email address.
